Volunteer tutors required for refugees training in healthcare/dentistry

We are currently working with a small group of refugee clients from healthcare professions, helping them prepare for the Occupational English Test (OET) starting in the New Year, and we are looking for people with experience either of teaching English for Specific Purposes or of using Medical English to join our team of volunteer tutors. We are also looking for volunteer tutors with knowledge of Biology and/or Physics at A-level to support a refugee overseas qualified dentist to prepare for GAMSAT exams in Spring 2022.

If you have relevant experience and can spare 2-3 hours per week we would very much like to hear from you. Please contact our education and employability project coordinator, Denise Parker (education@refugeesupportdevon.org.uk) for further information. Thank you!
