More detailsDonate
Much of our work is completely reliant on grants and private donations. All donations are welcome, no matter how big or small, and all contribute towards our on-going work with the local asylum seeking and refugee community. We particularly seek private donations to help support our destitution fund which can financially help those who find themselves in a critical situation with no other forms of support. Please see our news page for information about other current appeals and campaigns.

Fundraising events
If you wish to raise funds for us or organise a sponsored event, you can set up a fundraising page through Total Giving. This is a great way of reaching out to more friends, family and acquaintances, and donations received through this site are received directly through our paypal account.
Shopping Online
We are an Easyfundraising charity, which means you can support RSD every time you shop online with no additional cost to you!
We are also an Ebay charity – we can be added as an optional donation when people make purchases from you, or a percentage of profits can be donated to us.
Other kinds of donation
We are always happy to receive vouchers that can be redeemed in High Street shops, on public transport services or against household utility bills, however it is best to contact us before you buy so we can tell you what we need most.

Specific Appeals
Unfortunately, RSD has very little storage space so we cannot accept donations of clothing, furniture, household goods, toys, food or similar items except in response to specific appeals made via our news page or our social media. If you have items like this which you wish to donate we recommend you contact RAFT (Refugee Aid from Taunton) as they frequently collect such items to distribute to refugee camps. They will be able to advise of any collection points local to you.
If you would like to donate your time by volunteering with RSD we would love to hear from you. Please visit our volunteering page for more information.
THANK YOU!
