Big news for RAMP !

This week, Denise Parker - our inspiring teacher, who first thought of RAMP, our Refugees as Medical Professionals project - went down to Brighton to report on our successes!

The European Association of Language Teachers in Healthcare conference focused on all aspects of language in healthcare, with several discussing refugee issues. We produced a poster showing our achievements in RAMP; explaining our tailor made process for mentoring; and, achieving the aim of networking our groundbreaking project. Scroll up to give it a good look.

Our poster was well recieved - see Denise with it here! The feedback was positive, and we renewed acquaintance with other organisations we collaborate with.

Denise was able to make lots of new connections too, and speak through possible suggestions for RAMP with other like minds. Most of these ideas seem to focus on elevating the sense of community for our RAMP clients to ensure people feel that they aren't alone in their challenging process of professionalisation.

We are so happy with this outcome and proud of our RAMP team. We hope this is a precursor to many more fruitfu events, and developments in the project.

We are especially grateful to our funders and donors, and want to say an extra thank you during this time of celebration - we couldn't do it without you !
